Origin Logged In On Another Computer
Origin Logged In On Another Computer
Introduction
It’s called customer service. Origin appears to use the IP address your computer access the internet with as its main method of identifying you. … and for me, the Origin ‘your account is in use on another computer’ always shows up at the same time as the ‘internet connection unavailable’ notification in the tray.
IMO, @summerjase, you CAN log in to Origin on two different computers. You just cannot be logged in on both at the same time. For what you describe you want to do, assuming you turn your PC off when you aren’t at home, you will be able to login to origin just fine on the laptop (and visa versa).
because Origin didn’t detect your last logout/shutdown correctly, and therefore thinks you’re still online. Just a thought here. I believe the Origin servers keep track (Locally) of the ip address state of your computer or (Publically) the ip address of the router you are connected to when you run the Origin client.
2.Log with the account, you first registered your game on. 3.Go to ‘My Games’ section of origin. 4.Press your game icon. 5.Press download. 6.When it is finished, install it and update it and you are all set to go. 1.Go to Origin. 2.Log with the account, you first registered your game on. 3.Go to ‘My Games’ section of origin. 4.Press your game icon.
Why does origin say my account is in use on another computer?
As far as I know, it only allows you to be signed into one computer at a time. As such, you will not be able to play the games at the same time. Hope this helps. Re: one origin account but multiple users? Seriously?? I bought a PC copy of BF4 to use on one computer.
‘ORIGIN ALREADY RUNNING: Only one instance of Origin can run at a time. Please check other Windows accounts to see if Origin is running.’ So I checked the other Windows accounts, but it wasn’t running.
It doesn’t mean your account isn’t being used elsewhere, rather that Origin couldn’t be bothered to come up with a better message for ‘Your Origin account is currently offline’. This is actually a bug, sometime happen after a new patch.

Can I log in to origin on two different computers?
You can have origin on multiple computers, but can not be online all at the same time. Personally, my origin account is accessible on 5 different computers. I play offline about 99.9% of the time, as does my family who also utilizes it. We rarely use the gallery, which is the only online feature for the game.

While Origin will allow you to download and install a game on as many computers as you want to, you can only be logged in on one of them at a time. If you try to log in on a second machine, you will be asked if you want to continue despite the fact that it will log you out elsewhere.
If someone attempts to use the other computer and play on the same account, the person will be given a prompt to log her out and if the person accepts, she will be automatically logged out of her account so the other person can play. To download the games on her second computer, please follow this steps: 1.Go to Origin.
Why does origin keep logging me in If I logout?
Basically, Origin logged me out after a small power blip that killed internet access. Power was regained, internet access no longer an issue. But, I keep re-entering my password, and seconds after logging in, it logs me out, saying my credentials have expired.
Solution 1: Restart Origin Completely When you encounter âonline login is currently unavailable in Originâ , you should restart Origin completely in the first place. Right-click the Origin icon in the notification area of the taskbar and select Quit Origin. Then open Origin again and try logging in your account.
In my experience, the Origin client uses this message as a ‘go to’ message whenever there’s a problem with your network. To test this for yourself, try opening the Origin client, at the top it should show you’re logged on, unplug or disable your network card, then plug it back in or enable it, if the same message shows, there’s your answer .

As long as the account you are logged into has the game you are trying to play it will work fine. Origin blocks your games if you turn them on more than 3 times on GeForce NOW.
The serials are unique to each Origin account. (and as far as I know you can only have 1 serial of the game per account. – This maybe of consideration for Origin to allow a ‘parent’ account? I’m not sure if they have such an option currently?) In order for your girlfriend to use your game, she would require login to your Origin account.
Can two people play on the same origin account at once?
Everyone here is panicking over the fact that you can’t essentially have two different people playing the game…which is untrue. Origins allows for up to 5 computers to download content and play them. The origins account we have is my account.

Conclusion
With Steam, like most pc platforms, only one user can access an account’s game at a time. You will not be able to play any multiplayer games together with just one copy of the game. Using family sharing, one user can access either library and two can access the same account if one is used in offline mode. Holy necro thread Batman!

Will it be okay if both of us played at the same time but at different server? No, you cannot use one account for two servers. Once you have chosen your dedicated server for one account, you will lose all of your progress if you try to switch.
